DS 00 — Certified Performance
DS 00 is not fire rated. The performance characteristics below are the certified values issued on the Declaration of Performance for external variants under ETA-22/0324.

Frame fixing and weather-sealing.
DS 00 doorsets are straightforward to install into prepared openings. Full installation manuals and fixing schedules are supplied per doorset. External variants require correct weather-sealing and threshold detail to achieve the certified Ud value.
Supported substrates: masonry, concrete, steel stud partitions, and timber stud partitions. Anchor pattern per the installation manual. C5 corrosion-class doorsets require stainless fixings and compatible sealants.

Verify the opening
Check structural opening against the dimensions and substrate noted on the order acknowledgement and ETA field of application.

Frame fixing
Fix frame with approved anchors at centres specified in the installation manual. Plumb, square, and packed to manufacturer tolerance.

Weather-sealing (external)
Apply perimeter sealant and threshold compound per manual. Required to achieve certified Ud and C3/C5 corrosion performance.

Commission and record
Hang leaf, test closing and latching, record DoP reference (external variants) and installer sign-off for the project file.
